Oakstreet Attorney Search is a boutique legal recruiting firm dedicated to matching talented attorneys with law firms. We serve law firms of all sizes including national firms ranked in the Am Law 200, regional/mid-size firms, and sophisticated boutiques. We also work with attorneys at all levels, including Associates, Partners, and Counsel, to secure them the best career opportunities. 

Our team brings over 15 years of combined legal recruiting experience, along with insider knowledge gained from working directly within law firms. Our recruiters bring experience as former practicing attorneys with both AmLaw and regional firms, along with experience managing lateral recruitment for an international firm. We don’t just understand the legal industry—we’ve lived it. This experience allows us to navigate the recruiting process with insight and precision, ensuring the matches we make are the right fit for both attorneys and firms.

He has experience as a former practicing attorney at a large international Am Law 50 firm, and as a Senior Executive Legal Recruiter for one of the largest legal recruiting organizations in the United States. Clay has successfully placed dozens of Associates, Partners and Counsel at large Am Law firms, regional/mid-size firms, and sophisticated boutiques. His approach focuses on creating the best long-term fit for both the law firms and the attorneys he works with. Sarah has over 15 years of experience focused on legal recruiting and professional development. In addition to practicing law, Sarah previously managed legal recruiting at an international law firm, managed a national team of search consultants at one of the nation’s largest legal search firms, and worked in law school career services and professional development. Sarah has successfully placed dozens of lateral attorneys at law firms and in-house counsel at publicly-traded and privately held companies across the East Coast. As Senior Director at Oakstreet, Sarah specializes in lateral attorney recruiting and placement with law firms and corporations, with a particular focus on the Carolinas and large East Coast markets. Sarah prides herself on developing personalized and narrowly tailored search plans for both candidates and clients, with the goal of ensuring long-term success and building lasting relationships. Oakstreet Attorney Search was founded with the goal of making the lateral recruiting experience better for attorneys and law firms, by focusing on relationships rather than transactions. As experienced legal recruiters and former practicing attorneys, we’ve seen the process from all sides.
